PAYMENT

 

We accept payment by: Paypal (Credit Card) and Bank Transfer.

 

We will furnish you with our bank details after purchase has been made.

As a prevention to fraudulent actions, we may on occasions, request proof of identity and address. This maybe in the forms of a utility bill, passport or drivers license. Please do not be offended if we ask for these details. Any correspondance that we receive will be destroyed upon verification and your details will not be passed onto any 3rd parties. 

 

SHIPPING

Delivery is usually 3-9 days for products in stock, some products will have up to 28 days for delivery if not in stock at our warehouse. There is a availability indicator in each product page. This will inform you for the time it will take to receive your product.

 

We take great care packaging every item to ensure safe shipment to you. The postage rate is non-negotiable. Once your order has been processed and we have received cleared payment, your item will be dispatched as soon as possible. Please allow extra time if you are paying by Bank Transfer.

We keep a large amount of stock but on some occasions, there maybe a small delay whilst we order more stock in from our suppliers so please allow up to 28 days for delivery.

We deal direct with the manufacturers and on some cases, we order the items in after payment has been received so please allow up to 28 days for delivery. Please contact us if this is a issue as we most probably have the item in stock and it will not take this long. If you open a dispute in paypal for 'item not received' within this time then your order will be cancelled. 

 

TERMS

 

We warrantee and represent that the goods are as described in the above listing. We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Customers should satisfy themselves that any item choice made is suitable for their intended purpose or use. We pride ourselves on our customer service. In the rare event that you have a problem with your item please contact us and we'll be happy to help.

 

We strongly recommend that all items are installed by a competent fitter, should any faults occur due to mis-installation then this will void the warranty. We advise for you to instruct the fitters to test the unit on a test station that any specialist fitter will have. Should the rare event if any faults occur, please contact us immediately. We will not be liable for any costs that occur your side which include fitting or the removal of the unit should there be a occasion that the unit is faulty hence the importance of the unit being tested before fitting.

 

Should there be any issues, before we accept the unit back, we require you send us as much detail as possible about the units problems. We insist that you send us pictures or a video clip of the issues with a detailed description. If the file is larger than 15mb, we recommend you upload the video clips onto www.youtube.com or on a file hosting site such as www.yousendit.com. Upon acknowledgment of the item being faulty, we will furnish you with a RMA returns form and number to return the item. No items will not be accepted back unless you follow these proceedures and have a returns number from us.

 

We have technicians that test these units before they are sent and also on any returned 'faulty' units. Should our technicians find that there is no fault with the unit and the 'fault' was down to the item not being connected properly then a surcharge of 40 euro will be applied. This is to cover our costs. Should the unit be faulty then we will require a letter headed note from the installers stating the faults. All shipping charges are handled by the buyer.

 

Should in the rare occurance that a unit that is sent back for repair is beyond repair, a replacement unit will be sent. This goes for firmware/hardware replacements. Sometimes, there maybe changes in the menus.

 

RETURNS

 

Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded as long as item is returned within 10 days in the same condition as it was sent out, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay for and ship the item back to us. Please allow up to 6 weeks for the safe return of the item.  There is a 1 year warranty on all goods sold. Should on the rare occasion, the item is out of stock and cant be replaced beyond 28 days of purchase, we will obide to refund you 50% of the initial cost when 1st purchasing the item (postage fees not included).

 

REFUNDS

Please note, due to fluctuating exchange rate, refunds will only be given to the exact equivalent of what we have received in EURO. Please allow up to 14 days for refunds to be processed. As we offer free postage, we still have costs to pay so we will deduct 10%-15% from the total paid to compensate us for the postage and restocking fees.

 

CANCELLATIONS

 

Should you feel the need to cancel a order before it has arrived to you, we reserve the right to charge a 5%-15%  cancellation fee. This is to cover our carriage costs that occur when we order the stock in from our stockists. Also, refunds on items unwanted will occur a 5%-15% cancellation fee. This is in regards to depreciation on the item.

 

CURRENCY ACCEPTED

 

We accept EURO provided the transaction is done either via the credit card checkout on the website, PayPal or Bank Transfer.

 

PRICE MATCH POLICY

 

Double-din.com are proud to announce that we can beat any price on any of our products via other websites offering the same item if they are located in EU. This excludes manufacturers and websites offering items but without any prices. If you find any item we sell to be cheaper anywhere else, please email us at info@double-din.com with the link to the website and we will beat there price. Guaranteed.
